A collab pic of sorts with:
 After Christine posted her inked lineart of Total Colosseum (found here: [link]), the first thing I thought was that it looked clean enough to be in a coloring book. ^^ And that sparked the idea for me to try my hand at coloring it myself! So I asked Christine if I might be allowed to try coloring her lineart for her... in colored pencil! She agreed, and here is the end result. ^_^ I really like how this turned out. It wasn't particularly hard to color, just very time-consuming, as I had to figure out the colors for all the characters at first! ^^ I basically downloaded the picture, then printed it off on one sheet of paper, as big as it would allow me to. Then, I got my colored pencils and all my reference material... and went to work! ^^ Took about a week or two to complete, coloring a couple characters a day, but I finally finished and scanned it in for all to see. Reference materials used to color: ~ Pokémon Colosseum game guide from Nintendo ~ Issues #178-180 of Nintendo Power ~ Pokémon: Pokédex Collector’s Edition from Prima Games ~ Pokémon FireRed instruction manual ~ Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire game guide from Nintendo ~ Pokémon Colosseum for Nintendo Gamecube ~ Christine's picture "Christine's Crew" ([link]) for slight reference on her character in the right panel (the one giggling near the top with a Pichu, ^^) ~ Christine's picture "MINE not yours" ([link]) for reference on Emok (couldn't get it very well from the game)  Lots of reference! Want everything to be as accurate as possible!Hope you like it, Christine! ^^ Thanks for letting me color it! Though I'm sure whenever you decide to color it yourself it will be even better! ^_^ If you critique, please critique on the coloring only, as the sketch and inking are not my work. The only problem I see in the picture is the pink on Meganium's flower... it's bright as can be in the original, but my scanner apparently couldn't pick up any of the color. The detail you put into the coloring is amazing, everything is so perfect and in place. The coloring definitally was well done in of itself as well. ^-^ your coloring skills are those of Gods! Even though I have maybe seen these characters once, and perhaps at a glance at that, I can tell that they are all done just as they are suppose to be. Again, a very fine piece of work, and not to mention the actual drawing is really REALLY good! :laugh:

The coloring its wonderful. Yes, I KNEW your coloring rocked!!! (You're SOOOO much better at colored pencils than me o_o! )
So many refrences! Wow!! Playing the game (in my opinion) is the best refrence you can get. Then again, only some characters appear during certain times in the game.
So yes, books are good for you

Fire and Leaf weren't too hard, once I sharpened my pencils to a fine point... There wasn't a lot there to color, really. ^^
